Pulse is a professional medical network built for premed students, medical students, and physicians. Our mission is to make connection, mentorship, and career advancement more accessible, personalized, and community-driven.

Pulse is designed for premedical students, medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians who are looking to build meaningful connections, access mentorship, and engage with a supportive healthcare community.

How does mentorship work on Pulse?
Mentorship on Pulse is built around personalized matching to make the experience meaningful on both sides. Users create dedicated mentee and/or mentor profiles that highlight their goals, interests, strengths, and areas where they’re seeking support or offering guidance.
- If you’re a mentee, you’ll be recommended mentors aligned with your interests, background, and current needs. You can also explore mentors through curated pages, request connections, and directly message those you’re matched with or connected to.
- If you’re a mentor, you’ll have the ability to set your preferences on how you’d like to support others—whether through one-time guidance, longitudinal mentorship, or topic-specific support. You’ll also be able to discover mentees who align with your expertise and values and connect with them directly.
What stage is the platform in right now?
Pulse is now officially live on the App Store and Google Play. After months of building, refining, and gathering feedback from premeds, medical students, residents, and physicians, the first public version of the platform is ready for everyone to use. We’ll continue improving Pulse with new features and updates as our community grows.

What is the Pulse Pioneers Program?
Pulse Pioneers is our official beta testing program. Pioneers get early access to the platform, provide feedback to help shape its development, and play a key role in building the future of medical networking.
How can I become a Pulse Pioneer?
You can apply to become a Pulse Pioneer directly through our website. We’re onboarding a select group of users for our private beta and will continue expanding in our public beta phase.

The BA Program is a leadership opportunity for premed students who want to represent Pulse on their campuses. BAs help grow awareness, host events and connect their peers to the platform. Additionally, BAs exist as Pioneers on the platform.

You can learn more and apply through our “Brand Ambassador” page on the website. We’re actively recruiting students across North America.
